About Anita
This is Anita's first animal book, and appropriately, it's about another "first": her first cat. As a lifelong dog person, Anita never expected to fall head over heels for a feline, but then Cooper strutted into her life with attitude, charm, and just enough mischief to inspire a truly heartwarming cat story.
Writing this story has been a true family affair. With help from her imaginative grandson Jesse and plenty of editorial interruptions from Cooper himself (usually involving sitting directly on the keyboard), Anita brought this quirky, heartfelt tale to life, creating a funny cat story book filled with personality and warmth.
